Be A Hero. be a volunteer.
Volunteers are the backbone of every rescue group, and volunteering with Florida Poodle Rescue is fulfilling beyond anything you can imagine! You will be a member of our caring team, working to make the world safe and more humane for Poodles in need.
Please note: we are only able to accept volunteer applications if you are at least 18 years of age or older.
FPR has many ways meaningful ways to participate with the flexibility to help on your schedule.
Answering our phone calls and emails often makes you the first person in the chain of circumstances that will save a life. Checking an applicant’s references is the first step toward finding the right adopter for one of our dogs. Or picture yourself transporting a pup to his new foster home, soothing a frightened one who only knows a harsh hand, or working with a neglected Poodle that has been caged and left outside to survive. The warm fuzzies you will experience in any of our volunteer positions are indescribable. Without our volunteers, FPR could not exist.
Whether you want to work directly with the dogs or assist with administrative tasks from the comfort of your own home, we can use your skills and talents. If you are interested in being involved, we would love to hear from you. Click on the links to the right for descriptions of our volunteer committees.
