Florida Poodle Rescue Foster Home Application

Application Begin

Florida Poodle Rescue believes that the best place for any dog is in a home. Until a forever home is found for each of our dogs, they stay with a dedicated foster family. These amazing volunteers assess the strengths and needs of each of their foster dogs, giving them structure, healthy food, exercise, and love (of course). A dog's time in foster care can vary from just days to months. During this time, the foster family provides Florida Poodle Rescue with valuable information about the personality of each Poodle, allowing us to make a better match with a prospective adoptive family.

Florida Poodle Rescue covers all expenses for a dog's veterinary care and grooming during their time in foster care. We offer training sessions for new fosters, and we are always available with advice and support when needed.

Although we are headquartered in the Tampa Bay area, our fosters live all over the state of Florida. Some fosters are single, some are married, some have dogs of their own, and some don't. In fact, fostering is an ideal option for those who don't yet feel ready to adopt.
