Lucien

Lucien

Lucien is now almost three years old and has been in our care for more than two years. The last six months have been a difficult time for Lucien. Not has only his IBD been acting up but the lupus has emerged unmercifully attacking his little body. He has developed lesions all over his beautiful body especially on his face, hind end, and on his feet. The feet have swollen to the size of baseballs and his tail and face are sore and raw. We are soaking and medicating his face, feet and tail twice a day. At his point however his IBD is the main concern. It seems his stomach has stopped processing the nutrients from eating. We are in the process of having to do more serious testing. He will be undergoing an ultra sound and biopsy of his stomach in order to figure out the best way to proceed with his care. This testing of course is very costly. Even though his poor body is being battered both inside and out, his spirit and love of life still remains unbroken. His Doctors and FPR are working very hard to do everything they can to help this wonderful boy to survive but he needs your help too. As of April 10, 2013, we have spent well over $2500 on his medical diagnosis and treatment. Since Lucien can't speak for himself, we at FPR are asking for him He not only needs your prayers but also your generous donations so we can continue to give him the chance he deserves. He has survived insurmountable odds of being thrown away and left to be euthanized at animal control please help him continue his fight for life. It just may be that extra donation of $5, $10 or $20 dollars that will save his life. A life we at FPR feel is well worth saving.
