GUARDIAN ANGEL FUND

CLOUD    GINGER   PEPPER   and    PEPPIE

Are 4 Standards that were turned in to Florida Poodle Rescue because their human parents could no longer care for all of them.  They are all very good natured “kids” that get along with each other and people.  They all need to be spayed or neutered, vet checked and brought to good health.  One of them may have a urinary tract infection that will require extra care.  All will need to be bathed & groomed.  As of now they are at a Doggie Day Care & Boarding Facility while awaiting their foster homes.  The facility is next door to a vet’s office and they will be cared for daily.  Each one needs to gain 10 to 15 pounds.

GEORGIA PEACH

2 - 3 Year old, Female Mini

This little girl was found in a parking lot of a grocery store in South Georgia. Something has happened to her hind leg as it is swollen and smells awful.  The vet called just now and said the leg will have to be amputated. The foot is completely necrotic and the tissue comes off with the matted hair surrounding the foot.

Before euthanizing her, the animal control asked if Florida Poodle Rescue could help her.   We now have her in our care and she is extremely thin.  Frighteningly thin 5+ lbs and she should probably weigh 12+lbs. She had to get a transfusion and that probably will help her a lot.  Her back right leg that had to be amputated. She also got her teeth cleaned, her ears cleaned and got spade so her little body has had quite a trauma today.  She has some infections (ears) but she is heartworm negative. Her eyes are bright and she was so happy to be safe and warm and loved on.  She is on 2 antibiotics and pain medication.

Estimated costs are $1,500.00 to get her healthy. The vet says she is probably 2- 3 years old and is a sweet adorable girl.

She will be eternally grateful if you can find it in your heart to make a donation.
